## 2\. Our Understanding of the Brief

Based on the briefing session held on 18 February 2026 and the written brief circulated on 24 February 2026, our understanding of Lumière's needs is as follows.

### Background

Lumière Personal Care is entering a new phase of brand growth following the successful launch of its Clarté skincare range in Q4 2025. Consumer research commissioned by Lumière in January 2026 identified that while aided brand awareness sits at 61% among the 25–40 female demographic, conversion to purchase remains lower than category benchmarks. The primary barrier cited by consumers is a lack of personal experience with the product and insufficient trust in efficacy claims.

### The Challenge

Lumière needs to shift from a primarily digital acquisition model to one that incorporates high-quality, tactile brand encounters. The goal is to place products directly in the hands of target consumers and create shareable, emotionally resonant moments that drive both trial and social amplification.

### What Lumière is Looking For

- A series of five experiential events across five UK cities between June and October 2026
- Events that feel premium and aligned with Lumière's brand positioning: _"effortless luxury for every day"_
- High-quality product sampling, education, and engagement — not generic pop-up stands
- Social-first design: environments built to generate organic content and earned media
- A measurable ROI framework to demonstrate value to the Lumière board
- End-to-end production management handled by the agency

> Our approach to this brief: We have designed a campaign that treats each event not as a standalone activation, but as a chapter in an ongoing brand story — the Lumière Rituals Series. Each city event has its own distinct character while sharing a cohesive visual and experiential language, creating a cumulative narrative across the campaign period.

* * *

## 3\. Campaign Objectives

The following objectives have been defined in collaboration with the Lumière marketing team and will serve as the evaluative framework for the entire campaign.

### Primary Objectives

- Drive product trial: Achieve a minimum of 15,000 direct product sampling engagements across all five events
- Build brand affinity: Deliver post-event brand sentiment scores of 80%+ positive among attendees
- Generate social content: Achieve a minimum of 1.2 million organic social impressions across the campaign period
- Support sales: Generate measurable uplift in online and retail sales in each host city in the 30 days following each event

### Secondary Objectives

- Strengthen relationships with key beauty and lifestyle media and influencers in each city
- Build a proprietary database of engaged consumers for ongoing CRM activity
- Capture hero content assets (video, photography) for use across Lumière's owned channels throughout 2026–27
- Create a repeatable event model that can be scaled globally in future

### Success Metrics at a Glance

| Metric | Target (per event) | Target (campaign total) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Direct sampling touchpoints | 3,000+ | 15,000+ |
| Attendees (public & invited) | 500–800 | 3,000–4,000 |
| Social impressions (organic) | 200,000+ | 1,200,000+ |
| UGC posts tagged #LumiereRituals | 300+ | 1,500+ |
| Email/CRM sign-ups | 400+ | 2,000+ |
| Post-event brand sentiment (positive) | 80%+ | 80%+ average |
| Media coverage (online & print) | 3+ pieces | 15+ pieces |

* * *

## 4\. Creative Concept

> _"Every morning begins with a ritual. The way we care for ourselves is not just practical — it is personal, private, and powerful. The Lumière Rituals Series transforms the everyday act of a personal care routine into something worth celebrating. Each event is a space where consumers don't just discover products — they discover a version of self-care they didn't know was possible."_

### The Lumière Rituals Series

Each event in the series is themed as a distinct chapter of a ritual journey, moving from morning awakening through to evening restoration. The themes unfold as follows:

| Chapter | Theme | City |
| --- | --- | --- |
| I | _The Morning Light_ | London |
| II | _Still Water_ | Edinburgh |
| III | _Golden Hour_ | Manchester |
| IV | _Into the Green_ | Bristol |
| V | _Night Bloom_ | Birmingham |

Visually, the series draws on Lumière's brand palette of warm alabaster, champagne gold, and deep sage — elevated through considered material choices: brushed brass, organic linen, living botanicals, and hand-thrown ceramic product displays. Every surface is content-worthy. Every interaction is considered.

## Cover Letter

March 4, 2026

To the Pinnacle Golf Co. Procurement Committee,

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your Request for Proposal for a comprehensive market research engagement in the golf equipment sector. At Fairway Green Partners, we have spent the better part of a decade building one of the most focused consumer goods and sporting goods research practices in North America — and the golf industry sits at the very center of our expertise.

We read your RFP carefully. Pinnacle Golf Co. is not simply seeking data; you are seeking an actionable intelligence framework that can sharpen product development decisions, guide channel strategy, and help you compete in a market that is simultaneously growing in new demographics and intensifying in competitive pressure. That is precisely the kind of engagement where our firm adds disproportionate value.

The proposal that follows outlines a structured research program we believe will deliver the strategic clarity you need. We have been specific about methodology, timelines, and deliverables so that you can evaluate this proposal on substance, not promises.

We welcome any questions and look forward to discussing this engagement further.

Respectfully submitted,

Marcus J. Whitmore
Managing Partner, Fairway Green Partners

## Executive Summary

Fairway Green Partners proposes a four-phase market research engagement designed to provide Pinnacle Golf Co. with a comprehensive, data-driven view of the golf equipment industry. The engagement spans 16 weeks and will deliver primary and secondary research across four domains: market sizing and segmentation, consumer behavior and purchase drivers, competitive landscape analysis, and emerging trend identification.

The total investment for the engagement is $287,500, inclusive of all research, analysis, fieldwork, and deliverable production. Key deliverables include a 120+ page Market Intelligence Report, a Consumer Sentiment Dashboard, a Competitive Benchmarking Matrix, and a Strategic Opportunities Briefing suitable for executive presentation.

Our proposal is grounded in a clear-eyed understanding of the competitive pressures facing premium club manufacturers in 2026: the democratization of club-fitting technology, the accelerating influence of younger and women golfers, and the growing role of direct-to-consumer commerce in a historically retail-dependent category. We are confident this engagement will position Pinnacle Golf Co. to make faster, better-informed decisions across product, marketing, and distribution.

* * *

## Understanding of the Engagement

Based on a careful review of your RFP (dated February 12, 2026) and the subsequent clarification call held on February 24, 2026, Fairway Green Partners understands the core objectives of this engagement to be:

### Business Context

Pinnacle Golf Co. is preparing to refresh its iron and driver product lines for the 2027–2028 model year cycle. Leadership requires a comprehensive, independent view of the market to:

- Validate internal assumptions about target consumer segments
- Identify unmet needs and whitespace opportunities across handicap bands and player archetypes
- Assess how Pinnacle's value proposition compares to that of key competitors in the minds of actual consumers
- Understand the evolving role of digital channels, launch monitor fitting, and social media in the modern equipment purchase journey

### Key Research Questions

The RFP surfaced five central questions that this engagement must answer:

1. Who is buying premium golf equipment in 2026, and how has that profile shifted over the past five years?
2. What are the dominant decision drivers — performance claims, brand reputation, fitting experience, peer recommendation, price?
3. Where are consumers experiencing friction in the current purchase journey, and which brands are best resolving that friction?
4. How does Pinnacle Golf Co.'s brand perception compare to its primary competitors across key consumer segments?
5. What product attributes, technologies, and price points represent the highest-opportunity whitespace for the 2027–2028 cycle?

### Scope Boundaries

Fairway Green Partners understands that this engagement is scoped to the North American market (United States and Canada) with selective benchmarking against the United Kingdom and Japan markets where relevant. Apparel, footwear, bags, and accessory categories are explicitly out of scope. The engagement covers clubs only: drivers, fairway woods, irons, wedges, and putters.

* * *

## Proposed Scope of Work

The engagement is organized into four sequential but partially overlapping phases.

### Phase 1 — Secondary Research & Market Sizing

Objective: Establish a defensible baseline of market size, growth trajectory, and structural segmentation before primary research begins.

Activities:

- Aggregation and synthesis of third-party market data from Golf Datatech, Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), National Golf Foundation (NGF), and relevant trade publications
- Historical retail sell-through analysis (2019–2025) across club categories
- Geographic demand mapping across major DMA clusters
- Pricing tier analysis across Good / Better / Best segments
- Import/export trade flow analysis to identify manufacturing and sourcing trends

Deliverables:

- Market Sizing Baseline Memo (internal working document)
- Annotated Data Appendix with all source citations

* * *

### Phase 2 — Quantitative Consumer Survey

Objective: Gather statistically representative data on purchase behavior, brand perception, and product preferences across defined player segments.

Survey Design:

- Sample size: N=1,200 active golfers (defined as playing 6+ rounds per year)
- Fielding method: Online panel with screener qualification
- Quotas: Balanced by gender (targeting minimum 30% female respondents), age cohort (Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X, Boomer), handicap band (scratch to 36+), and geographic region
- Instrument length: Approximately 22 minutes average completion time
- Topics covered:
  - Club purchase recency and frequency
  - Category-level spend (lifetime and last 12 months)
  - Brand awareness, consideration, and preference (aided and unaided)
  - Net Promoter Score by brand and product line
  - Attribute importance ratings (distance, forgiveness, feel, aesthetics, fitting experience, price, brand prestige, tour validation)
  - Channel preference: on-course pro shop, off-course retail, brand DTC, online marketplace, used/certified pre-owned
  - Fitting behavior and technology interaction (launch monitors, simulator fitting, in-store custom fitting)
  - Social media influence and peer referral behavior

Analysis:

- Descriptive statistics and cross-tabulation across all quota variables
- Conjoint analysis to derive attribute importance and willingness-to-pay thresholds
- Brand perception mapping (perceptual mapping via MDS)
- Segment cluster analysis to identify 4–6 distinct buyer archetypes

* * *

### Phase 3 — Qualitative Research

Objective: Develop the depth of understanding that survey data alone cannot provide — the emotional logic behind purchase decisions, the language consumers use, and the latent needs that structured questions cannot surface.

Component A: Consumer Focus Groups

- 6 focus groups across three markets (Chicago, Dallas, and Charlotte)
- Composition: 8 participants per group; groups segmented by handicap band and gender
- Moderated 90-minute sessions
- Topics: brand associations, purchase journey narration, product trial feedback, concept testing for notional 2027 product positioning statements

Component B: In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)

- 20 one-on-one telephone interviews (60 minutes each)
- Target respondents: golf retail buyers, teaching professionals, and club fitters at premium fitting studios
- Focus on trade channel dynamics, inventory purchasing behavior, and feedback on manufacturer sales and marketing support

Component C: Shop-Along / Observational Research

- Ethnographic observation sessions at 4 retail locations (mix of on-course and off-course)
- Observe real customers engaging with club displays, interacting with staff, and navigating the fitting process
- Produce field notes and video summaries (with participant consent)

* * *

### Phase 4 — Competitive Intelligence & Synthesis

Objective: Combine primary and secondary research into a unified competitive intelligence picture and develop forward-looking strategic recommendations.

Activities:

- Competitive benchmarking matrix: Pinnacle vs. 5 primary competitors across 18 dimensions (pricing, product breadth, distribution, marketing spend estimates, DTC capability, fitting network, endorsement roster, digital presence, and more)
- Social listening analysis: 12-month retrospective on brand conversation volume, sentiment, and share of voice across key platforms (Reddit, YouTube, X/Twitter, Instagram, golf-specific forums)
- Distributor and retailer channel health assessment based on IDI findings
- Patent and R&D pipeline scan to surface emerging technology positioning threats
- Strategic synthesis and whitespace identification

* * *

## Methodology

### Research Quality Standards

All quantitative fieldwork will be conducted in accordance with ESOMAR/CASRO standards. Survey panels will be sourced through a double opt-in process with deduplication and quality screening. Open-ended responses will be cleaned for gibberish, speeders, and straight-liners before analysis.

Qualitative moderators are RIVA-trained and hold a minimum of eight years of consumer goods moderation experience. All focus group facilities are equipped with one-way observation mirrors and video recording capability. Participants will provide written informed consent.

### Data Governance

All raw data — survey responses, interview recordings, transcripts, and field notes — will be maintained in encrypted storage and transmitted via secure file transfer. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) will be separated from response data and destroyed upon project completion in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements. Data will not be shared with any third party without written authorization from Pinnacle Golf Co.

### Analytical Framework

The analytical layer of this engagement is built around three frameworks:

1\. Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD): Consumer purchase decisions will be mapped to functional, emotional, and social "jobs" to surface the underlying logic driving brand and product selection.

2\. Competitive Positioning Matrix: Brands will be plotted across axes of perceived performance vs. perceived value, providing a visual representation of white space in the competitive field.

3\. Segment Opportunity Scoring: Each identified consumer archetype will be scored across four dimensions — segment size, growth trajectory, current Pinnacle penetration, and strategic fit — to prioritize where product and marketing investment will generate the highest return.

**Design Brief** **Website Redesign — Driftwood Escapes**
Prepared by: Mara Holloway, Head of Marketing

Company: Driftwood Escapes

Date: March 4, 2026

Project type: Full website redesign

Deliverable: Design mockups, component library, and handoff-ready assets

* * *

**About Driftwood Escapes**
Driftwood Escapes is a curated holiday rentals company specialising in coastal and countryside properties across the UK, Ireland, and Northern France. Founded in 2014, we manage a portfolio of around 340 hand-picked homes — from converted fisherman's cottages in Cornwall to restored farmhouses in Brittany. Our guests are typically couples and small families with disposable income, a preference for authentic experiences, and a slight allergy to anything that feels mass-market or algorithmic.

We are not Airbnb. We are not Booking.com. That distinction is central to everything we do, and it needs to be central to the website we build.

* * *

**Why We're Redesigning**
Our current site was built in 2021 on a SaaS platform that was fine at the time. It isn't fine anymore. It looks dated, loads slowly on mobile, and — most critically — it no longer reflects who we are or who our customers are. Over the past two years we've significantly elevated our property standards and our brand, but the website hasn't kept pace.

Specifically, we need to fix:

- Brand misalignment. The site feels generic. Someone landing on it could easily mistake us for any mid-tier holiday lettings aggregator. Our photography is beautiful; our current layout buries it.
- Poor mobile experience. Over 68% of our traffic is mobile. The current site was designed desktop-first and it shows.
- Weak conversion flow. The path from property discovery to booking enquiry is too long and too friction-heavy. We're losing people we shouldn't be losing.
- Outdated search UX. Our filters are clunky and don't surface the attributes guests actually care about (dog-friendly, sea views, open fire, accessible, etc.).

* * *

**Project Scope**
This brief covers the design phase only. Development will be handled by our in-house engineering team. We need production-ready design files (Figma) and a documented component library. We do not need you to write copy, though flagging where existing copy isn't working is welcome.
**Pages to design**

| Page | Notes |
| --- | --- |
| Homepage | Hero, search entry point, editorial feature sections, trust signals |
| Search results | List/map toggle, filter panel, property card grid |
| Property detail page | Photo gallery, description, amenities, availability calendar, booking enquiry |
| About page | Brand story, team, our curation standards |
| Editorial / Journal | Index page + article template (we publish seasonal travel guides) |
| Contact & FAQ | Lightweight, functional |
| 404 / error states | On-brand, not embarrassing |

Mobile-first across all pages. Tablet breakpoint required. Desktop required.

* * *

**Brand & Aesthetic Direction**
We sit in the premium-but-approachable end of the market. Think: a well-designed independent hotel, not a luxury resort. Think: a really good interiors magazine, not a travel brochure.

Words that should describe the site:
Warm. Considered. Unhurried. Tactile. Real.

Words it should never feel:
Corporate. Algorithmic. Cluttered. Try-hard. Cold.
**Visual references**
The following are references for tone and aesthetic — not templates to copy:

- Kinfolk magazine — editorial calm, generous white space, human photography
- The Modern House — property presentation, typography confidence, restrained colour
- Toast (clothing brand) — warmth, texture, the feeling of things being made carefully
- Soho House website — navigation clarity, photography hierarchy, members-feel-without-the-exclusivity

**Typography**
We do not yet have a fixed type system — part of what we're asking you to propose. We'd like something with a serif for headings (something with character, not just prestige) and a clean sans-serif for body and UI. Avoid anything that feels like it came from a SaaS template. We're open to custom licensing if the right typefaces require it.
**Colour**
Our current palette is off-white, slate grey, and a washed terracotta. We're open to evolution here — the terracotta can stay as an accent if it earns its place, but we're not precious about it. The palette should feel like it could belong to the homes we list: natural materials, coastal light, earthy warmth.
**Photography**
Photography is our biggest asset. The design must be built around it, not alongside it. We have a full library of professional shots for all properties — interiors, exteriors, detail shots, surrounding landscapes. The layout system should make these feel editorial, not like a property portal.

* * *

**User Goals & Conversion**
The two things we most want visitors to do:

1. Find a property they love — and feel confident it's right for them before they enquire.
2. Submit a booking enquiry — our bookings are handled via enquiry form rather than instant book.

Secondary goals: sign up to our seasonal newsletter, read our Journal, and come away with a strong brand impression even if they don't book this time.
**Key user scenarios to design for**

- "I know I want Cornwall in August, I need to filter quickly and trust what I find."
- "I'm not sure where I want to go — I want to be inspired."
- "My partner and I are browsing together on a Sunday evening, probably on our phones."
- "I've been referred by a friend — I'm checking you out for the first time and forming a first impression."

* * *

**Technical Constraints**
Our engineering team will provide a full technical spec separately, but the following constraints are relevant to design decisions:

- The site will be built on a headless CMS (Contentful) with a custom React front-end.
- Property search and filtering will be powered by Algolia. Design should account for real-time filter updates without full page reloads.
- The booking enquiry form integrates with our CRM (HubSpot). Keep form fields to what's essential.
- We use Cloudinary for image delivery — aspect ratios and crop anchors will need to be specified per component.
- Target Core Web Vitals: LCP under 2.5s, no layout shift on image load.

* * *

**Deliverables**

| Deliverable | Format | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Design mockups — all pages | Figma | Mobile, tablet, and desktop for each |
| Component library | Figma | Named, organised, with variants and states |
| Interaction notes | Figma comments or separate doc | Transitions, hover states, loading states |
| Type & colour system | Figma styles | Documented with usage guidelines |
| Handoff specification | Figma Dev Mode or equivalent | Spacing, sizing, token names for developers |

* * *

**Timeline**

| Milestone | Target date |
| --- | --- |
| Kick-off call | w/c 16 March 2026 |
| Initial concepts (homepage + property detail) | 3 April 2026 |
| Feedback round 1 | 9 April 2026 |
| Full design set (all pages, mobile) | 30 April 2026 |
| Feedback round 2 | 7 May 2026 |
| Final handoff | 19 May 2026 |

We're allowing two rounds of feedback in scope. Any significant directional change after round 1 will require a scope conversation.

* * *

**Budget**
Our budget for the design phase is £12,000–£16,000 depending on experience and approach. We're happy to discuss how you'd allocate time across deliverables. Please include a breakdown in your proposal.

* * *

**What We're Looking For in a Freelancer**
We're not looking for the most prolific portfolio. We're looking for someone who:

- Has done serious, considered work for premium consumer brands — ideally in travel, hospitality, food, or lifestyle.
- Understands how to design for photography-led products.
- Can work closely with an in-house team without needing heavy hand-holding.
- Has genuine opinions about design and isn't afraid to push back if something won't work.

A short written response explaining your approach is as important to us as the portfolio links.

* * *

**How to Respond**

Please send your proposal to [mara@driftwoodescapes.co.uk](mailto:mara@driftwoodescapes.co.uk) by Friday 13 March 2026.

Include:

- Relevant portfolio work (2–4 examples with brief context)
- A short paragraph on how you'd approach this project
- Your proposed fee and a rough time allocation breakdown
- Your availability for the kick-off call week of 16 March

Questions before submitting? Email the address above and I'll respond within one working day.

**Creative Brief**  **Helix Launch Campaign**
Project: Helix Launch Campaign — _Know Your Biology. Own Your Future._

Client: Verana Biosciences

Prepared by: Morgan Ellis, VP of Brand

Date: March 5, 2026

Version: 1.0 — For Agency Review

## 1\. Company Overview

Verana Biosciences is a San Francisco-based precision health company founded in 2019. We sit at the intersection of genomics, metabolomics, and clinical-grade diagnostics. Our platform technology enables individuals and clinicians to act on biology before disease manifests — shifting healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive prevention.

We are not a lab company. We are not a wellness brand. We are the company that makes your biology legible.

To date, we have raised $340M across Series A–C, built a direct clinical partnership network spanning 600+ primary care practices, and published peer-reviewed research with UCSF and the Broad Institute. We are preparing for a significant public moment.

* * *

## 2\. The Product: Helix

Helix is Verana's first direct-to-consumer precision health panel — a comprehensive at-home biomarker test that delivers a personalized biological blueprint across 14 health domains: cardiovascular risk, metabolic function, hormonal balance, inflammation, cognitive resilience, and more.

Unlike existing consumer tests (23andMe, EverlyWell), Helix is not static. It captures a dynamic snapshot — measuring not just what your genes say, but what your biology is _doing right now_. Results are delivered through a clinician-reviewed dashboard with prioritized action pathways, and can be shared directly with your primary care provider via our EHR integrations.

Price point: $299 one-time / $199 annually with membership
Launch market: United States (DTC, with clinical channel layer)
Go-to-market date: September 15, 2026

* * *

## 3\. Campaign Objectives

This brief covers the launch campaign for Helix, running June through October 2026. The campaign must accomplish three things in sequence:

1. Build category awareness. Most Americans do not know that preventive biomarker testing is available, accessible, or relevant to them. We need to create demand before we can capture it.

2. Establish Verana's brand authority. We are launching DTC, but we are not a consumer wellness brand. We need to own the credibility and rigor of clinical science while being emotionally accessible to a non-specialist audience.

3. Drive conversion. Specifically: 50,000 Helix kits sold in the first 90 days post-launch. Supporting metrics include email capture (200K pre-launch waitlist), earned media coverage in 5+ top-tier health/science outlets, and a ROAS target of 3.2x on paid channels.

* * *

## 4\. Target Audience

### Primary: The Proactive Optimizer (Ages 30–50)

A high-functioning professional who already invests in their health — they run, they track their sleep, they have a doctor they trust. They believe prevention is smarter than cure, but feel like they're operating with incomplete information. They are not afraid of data; they are frustrated that health data hasn't been useful _enough_.

Psychographic triggers: Control, intelligence, longevity, performance, self-awareness

Media environment: Podcasts (health, business, science), long-form digital editorial, LinkedIn, Instagram, referral from trusted peers and clinicians

### Secondary: The Health-Anxious Seeker (Ages 28–45)

Someone who has had a health scare — their own or a family member's — and is now motivated to be more proactive. They feel the system failed them reactively. They want tools that give them agency.

Psychographic triggers: Peace of mind, empowerment, family, not being caught off guard

### Tertiary: Clinicians and Benefits Administrators

This audience will not see the primary campaign, but awareness work in the consumer channel influences their perception of Verana. Clinical credibility must be embedded in all creative — these audiences will scrutinize what they see in market.

* * *

## 5\. Core Message

Single-minded proposition:

> _Helix gives you a complete picture of your biology today, so you can change what tomorrow looks like._

Reasons to believe:

- 14 health domains, 70+ biomarkers — the most comprehensive at-home panel available
- Clinician-reviewed results, not algorithmic guesses
- EHR integration so your doctor can act on findings
- Backed by research from UCSF and the Broad Institute

What we are not saying:

- We are not claiming to diagnose disease. Our legal and regulatory constraints require us to position Helix as a health optimization tool, not a diagnostic device.
- We are not promising outcomes. We are promising _clarity_.
- We are not fear-mongering. The tone should be empowering, not alarming.

* * *

## 6\. Tone & Voice

Verana speaks like a brilliant scientist who has learned to be human. We are:

- Precise without being cold. Every claim we make is grounded, but we don't hide behind jargon to seem smart.
- Confident without being arrogant. We have done the work. We don't need to shout.
- Hopeful without being naive. We acknowledge that biology is complicated and uncertain — and that's exactly why clarity matters.
- Direct. We respect our audience's intelligence. We don't over-explain.

We are not: wellness-adjacent, clinical and sterile, hype-driven, fear-based, or preachy.

Reference brands (for tone calibration, not aesthetics): Stripe (precision, confidence), Peloton circa 2019 (aspiration, community), Levels Health (smart biohacking without the bro culture).

* * *

## 7\. Creative Direction

### Visual Language

We want the campaign to feel like a breakthrough — but one that is earned through clarity, not flash. The science should be _visible_ in the creative without being alienating.

Key visual principles:

- Biological imagery reframed. Cells, proteins, blood panels — but rendered with the elegance and warmth of high-end design, not the coldness of a lab manual.
- Real people, real context. No stock photo health-washing. We want talent who look like our audience: active, sharp, living full lives. Diversity across age, ethnicity, body type.
- Data as design. The Helix dashboard UI should appear in creative — it is a beautiful product and we should show it. Results screens, biomarker graphs, and action pathways are visual proof points.
- Restraint. White space is our friend. The science earns the quiet.

### Campaign Architecture

We are open to the agency's proposal, but we expect to see thinking across three phases:

Phase 1: Awareness (June–August)
Create intrigue and establish the category. Teaser creative, editorial partnerships, podcast integrations. The question we want people asking: _"What does my biology actually say right now?"_

Phase 2: Launch (September)
Full campaign deployment. Hero video (60s and 30s cuts), OOH in SF/NYC/LA/Boston, paid social, influencer activations (clinicians, health journalists, longevity-focused creators), PR push.

Phase 3: Proof (October)
Customer stories. Aggregate insight content ("What Helix revealed in 10,000 people's results"). Retention/referral loop.

* * *

## 8\. Deliverables Expected from Agency

We are looking for a fully integrated campaign partner. We expect the agency to present:

- Strategic platform — Campaign positioning, naming of the campaign idea, messaging hierarchy across audience segments
- Creative territories — Minimum 3 distinct creative directions with visual and copy expression across: hero video concept, social suite (static and video), OOH executions, email, and landing page hero
- Production plan — Recommended talent approach, shoot concept, and estimated production scope
- Channel strategy — How each territory comes to life across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Measurement framework — KPIs, brand tracking approach, and attribution model recommendations

* * *

## 9\. Budget

Total campaign budget (excluding agency fees): $4.2M

Indicative allocation guidance:

| Channel | Allocation |
| --- | --- |
| Paid digital (social, search, streaming) | ~40% |
| Production (video, photography, design) | ~20% |
| OOH | ~15% |
| Influencer & partnerships | ~12% |
| PR & earned media support | ~8% |
| Research & brand tracking | ~5% |

Agency fees to be negotiated separately and are not included in the above. We are seeking a fixed-fee engagement model for the campaign period.

* * *

## 10\. Timeline

| Milestone | Date |
| --- | --- |
| Brief issued to agency | March 10, 2026 |
| Agency questions due | March 17, 2026 |
| Creative territories presented | April 7, 2026 |
| Internal stakeholder review | April 14, 2026 |
| Revised territories / territory selection | April 21, 2026 |
| Campaign platform approved | May 1, 2026 |
| Production kickoff | May 5, 2026 |
| Phase 1 assets live | June 1, 2026 |
| Full campaign launch | September 15, 2026 |

We have a hard launch date. The timeline above is not negotiable.

* * *

## 11\. Success Metrics

| Metric | Target |
| --- | --- |
| Helix kits sold (first 90 days) | 50,000 |
| Pre-launch email waitlist | 200,000 |
| Unaided brand awareness (target segment) | 12% by end of Q4 2026 |
| Top-tier editorial placements | 5+ |
| Paid ROAS | 3.2x |
| Campaign NPS | >45 |

* * *

## 12\. Constraints & Considerations

- Regulatory: All copy referencing health outcomes must be reviewed by our legal and regulatory team before use. Do not claim Helix diagnoses, treats, or prevents any condition.
- Clinical sensitivity: Our clinician-partner channel is watching this campaign. If creative feels gimmicky or overstates efficacy, we risk that relationship. This is a real business risk.
- Competitive: Competitors are watching this launch. Do not reference competitors by name in any creative. We do not punch down.
- Inclusivity: The precision health space has a well-documented access and inclusion problem. Our creative must consciously counter this — in talent selection, in language, and in accessibility of the product story.
- Brand system: Verana's brand guidelines, logo files, and approved color palette will be shared under NDA at the start of engagement. Do not extrapolate visual identity from our current website — a refresh is in progress.

* * *
